Join Leo P on Saturday June 20 for a special one time only TECHNO HOUSE SAXOPHONE workshop! This workshop is open to all levels and instruments. He’ll be teaching you his techniques for how to create grooves, builds and drops inspired by his own style based on electronic dance music!
In this 2 hour online workshop you will learn how to create an EDM groove with bass lines while adding in your melodies and effects and how to create an effective build and drop! There will be a live Q&A, video feedback segment featuring YOUR videos and Leo will bring on some attendees to try these techniques out with him live!
- Each attendee can submit a video for review pre workshop. Leo will view each submission and record a video response giving you personalized feedback to take your sax playing to the next level
- All attendees are invited to a post workshop virtual jam session where you can try out these new techniques and jam with Leo!

Creating an EDM Groove (40 min)
In this segment you’ll learn how to create Techno House basslines and how to combine melodies & effects into your playing!
Creating a build and a drop (40 min)
You’ll learn best practices when and how to create an awesome techno house drop in different scenarios including playing by yourself or in collaboration with another band member and different instruments. You’ll also learn how to identify and play different types of drops including “classic” and “fakeout.”
Video Feedback - 20 min
Leo will be watching and reviewing your videos and giving you his honest feedback.

I Play a Different Instrument Can I Take This Course?
Yes! The concepts in the workshop are applicable for all instruments.
Can I view the lesson content on my mobile or tablet device?
Yes! The videos can be viewed on any device as long as you are connected to the internet.
Where do I send in my review video?
Please limit videos to 1 min or less. Email your video to email@example.com. Feel free to send in whatever you'd like Leo to give you feedback on. All videos must be submitted by Thursday June 18. A few submissions will be featured in the workshop. All other attendees will receive a personalized video from Leo the week after the workshop.

Does it matter which saxophone I play?
All saxes (and any other instruments/vocalists) are welcome 🙂 We are ASBT+ friendly.
I just started playing saxophone, can I sign up for this online workshop?
Absolutely! These techniques are applicable for beginners through advanced players and performers.
What if I miss the live workshop? Can I still watch it after the scheduled time?
We will provide everyone who purchases a virtual seat with a download of the video of the workshop, so you can watch it anytime after the end of the class in case you miss it, or want to re-watch it!
